(updated 11-18-13) 28 Greenpeace activists and 2 reporters may face another 90 days in prison without trial. Russia's Investigative Committee has already begun filing the papers required by Russia's court system to hold the "Arctic Sunrise 30" while they complete their investigation of alleged crimes committed during a protest in September that resulted in the seizure of a Greenpeace vessel named "Arctic Sunrise".
On Saturday, requests for the extended pre-trial detention of 6 activists were filed, and today, Monday, the investigators are getting results in court. We may eventually see all of the Arctic 30 detained for another 90 days, unless unless the rising tide of appeals from celebrities, world leaders and YOU have an effect on the Putin regime. Consider signing the petition.
